Winner of the Blue Allah Wall Clock!
Masha’Allah, choosing a winner for the Blue Allah Wall Clock Giveaway was a terribly difficult decision, as we feel Shafaq’s son has worked hard to earn such a worthy prize, but Insha’Allah, Allah will reward him immensely for his good deeds. Ya Rabb, Ameen. So we chose by putting more weight on the creativity, and unique way Tara described using this clock to bring the Islamic message to both her sons over and serving as a reminder of Allah’s creations and sustenance only He can provide for us.
Here is her winning comment:
I am a mother of 2 little boys, one of them is 6 and the other is 3. My 6 year old has always had a unique and loving personality, but is often afraid to sleep in his room even sharing it with his baby brother. Every night we calm him by saying prayers. I would use this and put above the head of the bed. Then I would tell him that any time he is afraid at night to look above and remember that Allah is there and like the plants Allah created on the clock he made you. Thus, Allah knows best how to protect you at night. This clock will be a visual reminder that everything in life has a balance and Allah is the one whom sustains this.
