Our daughters and I enjoyed a mini-tour of New Haven Register, when Sandi invited us to the photo studio for shots of our up & coming inventor/designer last week.

Peter Hvisdak took dozens of fun pictures. Much to our great surprise (and Sandi’s), the layout of the article is fabulous!

The print version is more than half of the front page and continued onto the next. There were 2 pictures in the print version in which our daughter was holding the Prayer Pack with the compass showing as a handbag on her shoulder. She was wearing one of Mommy’s/Grandma‘s pearl necklaces too The print version is so pretty because the picture of her praying takes up half the page, and the article is written around the pictures.

We are so proud of her! Her younger sisters can’t stop talking about really selling her invention, and starting her Muslim girls and women’s clothing line.

As the article states, we’re working on getting a patent, copyright and trademark for this invention, so we can ultimately develop and sell it, inshaAllah, God willing.

So, we’re presently searching for the following:

A pattern maker, ideally someone local . Since we have our prototype and would like to work with local talents and have them work off of our sample. So if you know anyone, please comment below.

The ideal compass button (we used 4 different types and are not satisfied yet),

Manufacturer (domestic or overseas) willing to work with us.

I hope you enjoy the article as much as we did. Thank Sandi and Peter.
