Homeschooling online…what does this mean exactly?
Well, we’re homeschooling on a shoestring budget. So, we’re utlizing the vast, free homeschooling resources online (here on the world wide web)–period.
Again, we’ve been homeschooling our girls since they were born. So, we’ve decorated our house, conducted our travels, and set-up our wireless internet connection among each of our computers (husband’s laptop, my desktop, and the girls’ desktop), based on the ultimate goal to educate our girls ourselves.
Having just posted on the Toledo HELP yahoo group, and talking to my girlfriend, I just realized that we have so many free tips, tools & resources for homeschooling online and specifically girls here in Ohio.
I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to post everything.
So, here’s my advice:
Please ask your questions in the below “Comments” area. Even if your concern does not pertain to that day’s post, just start the dialogue and we’ll do our very best to share our homeschooling resources, tips, views, opinions & recommendations.
When asked, here’s what we consider one of the greatest benefits of homeschooling: is the ability to conveniently give each of our children an individualized private-school education utilizing many free or low-cost hands-on resources (i.e., using natural resources, internet, libraries, etc.) that optimizes all their senses, learning abilities, and personalities and empowers them to be the most loving, compassionate, beautiful, wise, believers of God.
So, while homeschooling is not the easiest thing in the world, remember that the investment in the teaching our children is our investment in the future success of humanity for the sake of God and Him Alone.
