National Council
of Teachers of Mathematics have identified the most important mathematical
topics for lasting learning at each grade level. They are called “Curriculum Focal

Book adventure has been a great tool for
us for several years!! It’s similiar to accelerated reader in that kids read
books and then take online tests, but they then earn points and can cash them in
for great items such as books, games, etc. As a teacher, you can set up your

are done by the San Diego County Office of Education. Teachers have developed

1. Hey, there’s a recommendation for a WriteShop! geared to 7th-11th graders, but as low as 4th-graders are using it…hmm…I’m developing my girls writing Right now–5.5 year and less. Any thoughts anyone?
