Starting today, Sunday, August 16, 2009 – Saturday, August 22, 2009, Connecticut residents do not have a pay sales tax on clothing or footwear sales. As long as we keep our purchases under $300, Connecticut residents (especially us mommies) will have the incentive to finish all of our back-to-school OR not-back-to-school shopping this week. Thank you CT Fun Spot for this great tip! For further details, you may read the Special Notice here.
