Fulla Muslim DollYou may recall our previous review for Fulla. This time around, we’re happy to share that we’re giving away a Fulla Boutique!

It’s so fun to play “clothes shopping” with the Boutique because it has spaces for all accessories, like shoes & handbags. It’s great for hanging the miniature outfits when not in use – We love the modest undergarments, knee-length.

Look at the craftmanship of the outfits! Aren’t they cute!? And we love that they’re modest and stylish at the same time.

Fulla has friends! They have different hair colors, just like real life hijabis have different hair colors. ;-)

    Our pleasure!
We LOVE our Fulla dolls, and the boutique is just so much fun!
Great point, I believe the picture demonstrates the underclothes are not detachable; which is a huge plus!

I have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter who would love to play with a doll dressed like mommy! I would prefer a blue outfit/black hair doll, as our hair our black and blue because I want to show to my daughter that a girl can wear any color not just pink as brainwashed in the western society. Having a fulla doll would mean a lot to my little muslimah, it would inspire her to dress like her, to help understand that it’s ok to be different from the crowd and it would build her sense of confidence and she would take pride in the fact that she has a doll like barbie except that it’s a doll that does not follow shaitan. She doesn’t have any barbies and she never bugs me to have one. So, I think this will be a reward for her patience.

Awww…subhan Allah! Wonderful points dear sister Fatima!

You’re making my middle girls’ day: She’s always and still does wear and LOVE everything blue! Coming up soon is a boys-prayer-rug review and contest and the little one said “that’s a boy’s rug!” (being royal blue)! “NO it’s not! It’s MY Rug”…quietly she nudged and asked “it’s not a boy’s rug, right?” I loudly said
“NO! This IS YOUR Rug!” ;-)

So cute and confident! That’s how I want my little one to be like. My little one loves pink, and wanted everything pink everyday. So, i made sure I filled her wardrobe with all different colors and gave her examples and masha Allah she was quick to understand that she can wear any color. Sometimes in doubt she asks me the similar question – “I can wear this too, right? It’s green, but girls wear green too, right momma?” Allah(swt) made them so pure and innocent. This tells me that it’s not important what the world does, what’s important is what we do at our home – our environment at home, what parents practice. They look up to us as role models first. May Allah(swt) guide all our muslim homes – parents and children this Ramadan. Ameen.

    Assalamu alaykum.
I was first introduced to Fulla when we were blessed enough to go for Umrah in 2008. My daughter, then 4 years old, instantly fell in love with Fulla, a doll that actually dresses like her mom and other women in our family. She played with her for hours on end in our hotel room- it really kept her quite busy. And I did appreciate the fact that she wasn’t able to totally strip her down to nothing- what an amazingly modest concept! Unfortunately, the doll was somehow lost on our trip back. She was so upset that she begged her grandma for another Fulla. since my mom couldn’t get her hands on one, she actually sewed an abaya and hijab for her barbie dolls! Masha Allah! However, when changing her, the lack of modesty was certainly an issue. Now I have two more daughters, Alhumdulilah, ages 4 and 3, who would love to play with Fulla. The black haired doll would resemble them most physically, so I think they would be able to identify themselves with her more easily. We have small abayas for them, so they would love to dress up all matchy-matchy with Fulla! It would mean alot to them to be able to have this “Muslim” doll!

    Aww…. Aww… Awww…

So, another home of 3 girls!? They seem about the same years apart too. Are they? Mine are 12, 11 & 9 yo, mashaAllah.

First, Umrah Mabror, insha Allah. May Allah accept your umrah, Ameen.

Subhan Allah, the girls were introduced to Fulla’s here in the States, and they don’t prefer at all the Fulla videos, musics, etc. overseas.

We LOVE Fulla the dolls though.

MuslimToysandDolls.com (MTD) have value packs with multiple Fullas, so please check them out.

    MashaAllah, for your mom’s efforts.

The cool thing is MTD has gorgeous clothes, inside and outside clothes, prayer clothes, rugs and so much more. We keep adding to their collection even though they are older–it keeps us all (yes, me included) young at heart!

Aren’t girls the best??? Alhumdulilah for little girls! Well, my oldest is 8, and then the “babies,” as we refer to them, are 4 and 3- only 12 months apart! We certainly did not plan it that way, but they are all blessings from Allah! OMG, they have prayer rugs for Fulla!?!? That is the cutest thing. I have to go and check out the MTD website!

My daughter would love this. she saw it once and wanted it but I could not find it. She wants a doll that dresses like a muslimah is supposed to not like the western barbies. Infact after seeing a Fulla picture she does not want to play with her barbies because they do not have islamic clothing. She would love this so much. She has only been involved in islam for 2 years and she needs to see role models in every area of her life…in everyday life and play life.

    Salam Sister!
OMG! I saw this and was overjoyed and thought this will make a perfect eid gift for my little sister who is 5. I do not want to show this to her yet. If I win I want it to be a surprise! My sister loves playing with her Barbies, brushing their hair and dressing them up and she would love this! The only problem with the Barbies is they have no undergarments and they are not dressed modestly majority of the time and I want my sister to learn the importance of modesty hayaa. I want her to learn good Islamic values even while she is playing! I want her to be inspired to dress like the doll and be strong and confident in her faith. I want her to know that you can dress modestly and still look fashionable. I do not want her to be influenced by American dolls. This doll is uber cute! And i like how the hijab can be taken off so my sister can still brush the doll’s hair! Also, being dressed modestly, the doll can be used as an example for American manufacturers to make Muslimah dolls too. Also, my sister will be starting kindergarten in the fall so this will be a good form of Da’waa if she takes the doll to school. It will show she is proud of her religion!

Recently, My sister told me her favorite color is green because it was the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) favorite color and she wants to be just like him and do everything he did! When she told me, I was like “Aww Mashallah!” Such a young age and already such love for our Beloved Rasul! So I think the green outfit doll will be perfect for her after her telling me this. I just love my sister so much! <3

Also, I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the giveaways! May ALLAH accept our fasts and duas in this blessed month and grant you all success in this life and the hereafter!

Alhamdolillah I came across this post today, I recently joined the Muslim mom page on fb and wanted to say how glad I am to discover this forum. My daughter Is 6 and a half years old, will be starting second grade next week at our local. Islamic school mashallah, she is so inspired by the Islamic teachings and her Arabic and Islamic studies teacher and models herself after her; her teacher uses an icon of grace and beauty, perfect in her modesty as she is always dressed in long skirts and hijab. For the last few weeks I have been fielding eid present requests for American girl dolls and Barbie dolls .. I hate to say no to my little one and I have been looking online at variety of options and was thrilled to see the fully dolls! So unique and appropriate and perfect for her! Since my daughter Wears the hijab on heroin accord, I think she will take to these dolls immediately. I am sure she will love the one with black hair since it resembles her! Now I am so excited, I do hope we can get this prize in time for eid presents!! That would be super :) jazakallah, I want to thank the company for coming out with this idea for the ideal doll, I believe children should play with toys that are educational and indicative of the culture we practice. Kudos to American mom for sponsoring this give away!

  14. Awesome blog! Do you have any tips and hints for
aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a
little lost on everything. Would you recommend
starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any tips? Bless you!

    Thanks.
Yes, preference should always go to a self-hosted WordPress option, you can get a domain name for ~$10/year and web hosting for as low as $5/month. A great starting place I’d recommend is my 12 yo’s free ebook, “How to Start a Kid Blog for Fun & Profit” for there’s tons of advice for newbies. If a kid can do it, so can you! Go to http://KidBloggersClub.com/ebook
Let me or them know if you have more questions!
