Purex Complete Crystals Softener- Review & Giveaway
As an exclusive Purex Insider, I had the awesome opportunity to try their top-secret new product Purex Complete Crystals Softener. On Sunday, the NorthEast was hit with the first blizzard of the year, and boy was it windy. So, we pulled out all the girls’ snow pants, hats, gloves, scarves–the whole winter wonder-outfits. Anyways, one by one as they walked into the house, after only being out there for about a half-hour, I couldn’t help but smell them! (I guess my spring packaging didn’t go very well this year.)
So, it was a perfect test load for this new92% natural reinvented softener by Purex.
Sunday, Day 1.
Well, I just finished the load. And, I have to tell you “The clothes smell delicious!” No really. I was hugging 3 big fluffy winter coats with the nice fleece and down warmth covering me all up. Oh, how I love winter!
How Purex Complete Crystals Softener Works
My Purex laundering confessions habits
1. I’ve always loved Purex. It always cleaned my laundry well, kept its fresh scent at a fraction of the “big brand” price tags.
2. I always put 2-3 caps of laundry detergent, and 2-3 fabric softener sheets in the dryer. My girls make fun of my husband and my dog-like smelling abilities.
3. I typically only put liquid fabric softener with the wash when a load is very smelly. Which I would of done for this load.
4. I rarely fill my washer to the brim to use the “Super Wash” level.
My Purex Complete Crystal Softener Experience
1. I only put 2 caps full of laundry detergent, plus the designated ONE amount of Purex Crystals.
2. I only put 2 fabric softeners in the dryer. Based on all the literature provided for me in my Purex Insider Welcome Kit, I just decided to try less.
3. I did not use liquid fabric softener in the washer at all. It was a test run.
4. I filled the washer to its maximum capacity, “Super Wash” load.
I was so impressed, although I had a tiny load of whites, I had to give it a try. After all, my big thick robe would be great fluffy and fresh. So, I went for it. So, after our first night in the blizzard, we watched a couple of family TV shows while I was cozy in my robe.
And, now Monday, Day 2.
We just spent 1.5 hours shoveling out 1 car from our blizzard. We came in the house and I said, “Go directly into the laundry room!” Much to my surprise, when I went to go wash them again, all the coats smelled, yes, delicious!
So, I decided only to wash the dirty hats, gloves, scarves and clothes they wore. Impressed is an understatement.

Spring Waters as it sounds like it is most likely to have a “clean” smell.
I hate when companies name scents like “tropical splash” because what kind of scent would a person think it would be? It sounds like a drink more then it would be a laundry product.

I like the Lavender because it’s a calming scent and I use it for so much in my home already
the tropical splash sounds like it would be my favorite because i love to dream of being in a tropical area
