One of the Greatest Ibadah on Earth = Keeping Our Eyes on the Kaabah!
I LOVE this picture SO much! Don’t you!? It’s my oldest daughter just staring happily making du’a (supplications) to our beloved Allah subahan Allahu wa Ta’ala (May He be Glorified). You probably can’t see the sparkle in her eyes–a sign that she’s obviously smiling, but I can tell by the position of her cheeks that I had to capture this moment when she was in such a happy trance, smiling joyfully to be seated right there so close, next to the Kaabah.
Ya Rabb, May You allow all the Mu’minyn who desire to worship You and Only You in Your most sacred house make the journey in their lifetime. And, May You allow those who desire to return to Your sacred house have the means to do so as well. Hajj and Umrah Mabror (May we have an accepted, completed Hajj or Umrah), Ya Rabb, to all those who have already made the journey. Ameen!
Have you been on Hajj/Umrah? What was your favorite part? If not, what do you look forward to most?

Assalamlaikum,
mashllah you’ve performed umrah.May Allah SWT accept it and all your duas.
I performed umrah in 2004 with my family. The best part of the whole trip was to be able to pray 5 times in the masjid with no distractions. We would go to the masjid before fajr and pray tahajjud there followed by fajr and wait until ishraq/duha.Then we’d go to the hotel, eat something and then take a nap and back to the masjid until after isha prayers. We didn’t have a computer on us and nothing to distract us.It felt like a spiritual retreat.Alhamdulillah such a blessing.

Subhan’Allah. This is a great picture. I can see the sparkle in your daughters eye! No, I haven’t gone to umrah/hajj but I look forward to making tawaf.

SubhanAllah this post really makes me nostalgic. I went on Hajj a few years ago, and I have to say it was so difficult to focus during salah because I couldn’t help but look up at the Kabah. It is quite literally a sight for sore eyes. May Allah SWT accept all our pilgrimages and grant us the honor of visiting it many times. Ameen!
