Muslim Kids Video: Beautiful Nasheed with the Shahada

| August 22, 2010 | Comments (2)

The repetitive harmonious calling of the Shahada (declaration of faith, the first pillar in Islam) in this simple nasheed (Islamic song) is so beautiful, calming, uplifting, and peaceful that it brought tears to my eyes. The video is okay, but the nasheed is something worth streaming through your house over and over again.
Shahadah: “There is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God”.

While we focus so hard on the pillars of sawm (fasting) and salat (prayers) during Ramadan, I thought it was a nice time to remind us of what makes us Muslims first and foremost, which is our submission in Allah (God) and our belief in our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallalahi wa alayhi wa salam.

Please share your favorite nasheed videos that help you reflect during the month of Ramadan.
