Kid’s Coloring Design a Button Contest Ends Today, But You Still Have Time!
Alhumdulilah, Praise be to Allah, today is the last day of our country’s First Annual Summer Islamic Reading Challenge, 2009. We’re so excited about the number of registered children for our debut program! Being the first to try something new, we understood there would be a huge learning curve and we’d have to make adjustments along the way. For example, we extended the original Kid’s Coloring “Design a Button Contest” deadline date until today to allow for more entries. While we received an email from one family stating that their drawingS are in the mail, we haven’t received any from anyone yet. So, to give any last-minute artists some inspiration, our girls designed the below buttons to describe what our Summer Islamic Reading Program meant to them (no they are still not eligible for prizes). If you have entries on the way, please comment below so we can keep our eye out for them. Otherwise, if you want to take out your markers, colored pencils or whatever writing utensil your child loves most, grab the coloring sheet here and scan/email it to contact<at>americanmuslimmom.com or [postal mail it with your Official Book Review and Reading Journal Form to:
