Eid Decorations – Where to Purchase them or make your own
To date, I’ve always made my own Eid decorations because they were never readily available. So, I was forced to I use my frugal creative mind to lead the interior designs 
But, alhumdulilah (praise be to God), it has become a special expectation in our house each Eid. The girls know they have to go to bed early because even though there’s no more suhoor (morning meal before the fast) or fajr to wake up for…we still wake up around that time because I “professionally” do their hair and dress them up in their gowns.
But, they wake up to me cheering Eid salutations, as they run to the living room to their surprising “new” decorations, the dining room for the “new” dressed up dining set, and the kitchen filled with fresh baked goodies. They know I rarely sleep the night before Eid, but I crash for my bi-annual mid-day nap right after prayer.
I write “new” because after 12 years, I have never had the same decorations, dining room set-up, or display of baked delights. Fortunately, with the rise in Muslims in the West, Eid decorations are easily found on the web. So, with ample time to prepare, I may actually have a few hours of sleep this year because I don’t have to make everything from scratch this year.
