Discount Coupons for New York City Parking
No need to worry about astronomical New York City parking prices anymore! My master-frugal New Yorker sister tipped me into this awesome site for all Icon Parking lot discount coupons. What I really like about this site is that it has a Manhattan neighborhood map pictured in this post. Also, the details of the Parking lots are great.
Parking Lot listing
- Parking lot name,
- Address,
- More importantly, the streets you can enter and the crossroads
- Most importantly, The valid days and hours of the coupon
Discount Parking Lot Coupon Tips & Lessons Learned
- ou need to plan ahead and print the coupons.
- Pay particular attention to location of the parking lot. You’re going to be walking a ton in The City anyways, so there’s some great deals (more than half the regular price) for a little stroll.
- Pay particular attention to hours of the coupon. Some coupons take a nice dip after 3pm, and even more so for after 6 pm; however there are others will “anytime” designations too.
- Print a few different parking lot coupons. My sister said sometimes the lots will be full or will not accept the coupon. I was happy to have 6 to choose from, because we were running a bit late, so I was willing to pay a bit more for the closer walk.
- Show the coupon once you enter the parking lot to assure it will be accepted.
- You pay when you pick-up the car.
- Payment must be made via credit card. No cash accepted. This was a missing detail I found out by experience.
- Coupons change regularly, so check daily.
Finding these coupons made our NY trip that much more awesome, because I’m still a car-driving-gal and have never adapted to my sisters’ lifestyle of trains and subways (even though my girls would love to be “real” New Yorkers for a day and travel like her). So, while this may sound like a ton of planning, to make your NYC trip economical, it took me few minutes of research only…and I like the convenience of having my car a walking distance away rather than planning and waiting from train and sub schedules. I’m glad I love New York City as a visitor, rather than a resident.

the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it
yourself? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays.
