The American Muslim Mom Blog
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu.
Many peace, blessings and good tidings be upon you.
Khir, insha’allah.
Only good fortune be will with, God willing.
The short story is: I will share our long story here on this blog.
We’ll chronicle our journey to create an ummah (community) of Muslim children in which our Creator, Allah SWT (subhana watallah, May He be Glorified) will be pleased with as they are our entrance into jennah (heaven), insha’allah.
Raising children is our top priority as parents and more so for us mommies.
If we do it only for the sake of Allah (SWT) and in accordance with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) our rewards will be great!
I have three daughters, and welcome the challenges of raising them.
My husband and I homeschool them. We’re creating a bunch of computer-loving, techno-junkies who expect to have fun as we learn together, and strive to seek Allah’s (SWT) approval in all that we do.
Seeking knowledge is critical to being a Muslim, and we instilled this love to learn since the day they each were born.
As a best-selling author and lover of the written word, I, too am a researcher at heart (blame it on my biology-days). With an trained-engineer as a hubby, this blog is a long awaited online journal of tips, tools & resources for those who know us–and now, I’m widening our circle of brothers and sisters to the online world.
Insha’allah/God willing, you will come share any and all your feedback and comments. Most of all, I’m seeking your active involvement by sharing your helpful resources in Islam and raising our ummah together–one child at a time.
